About the event
Join us for a cozy, hands-on pyrography workshop where you’ll create a one-of-a-kind woodland-inspired wood keepsake. Using small 1/4" - 1 inch" natural hardwood discs, participants will choose from a curated selection of woodland flora and fauna designs—such as leaves, mushrooms, birds, and forest animals—to burn into the wood using professional woodburning tools.
You’ll learn the basics of safe pyrography techniques, how to control heat and line work, and how to bring simple designs to life on wood. We’ll also cover how to drill and finish your piece so it can be worn or used as a functional keepsake.
Each participant will transform their burned wood disc into a finished piece of their choice, such as:
A pendant or necklace
A keychain
A zipper pull or bag charm
