Create a one-of-a-kind handcrafted festival hat using beautiful natural wool and the traditional art of wet felting. In this full-day workshop, you'll learn the techniques used to transform loose wool fibers into a durable, seamless wearable piece of art. Beginning with a resist pattern, we'll explore proper wool layout, shrinkage calculations, shaping techniques, fulling, and finishing while creating a hat custom-sized to fit your own head.
Choose from a curated collection of wool colors to create a style that reflects your personality, whether rustic and earthy, elegant and understated, or delightfully whimsical. Once the hat is complete, you'll learn simple ways to shape the brim and crown, giving every finished piece its own unique character.
