About the event
Join us this winter as we explore the centuries-old art of Pysanky—beautifully decorated eggs created using traditional wax-resist dyeing techniques. While often associated with spring and Easter, Pysanky have long been given as meaningful gifts in Ukrainian and Eastern European cultures, symbolizing protection, goodwill, and care.
This special January–early February workshop invites you to start the season early with a Valentine-inspired twist. Participants may choose to work with classic symbolic designs or explore a contemporary palette of reds, pinks, and warm tones to create heartfelt Pysanky perfect for winter gifting or Valentine décor. It’s a thoughtful, creative way to slow down and make something personal during the quieter months of the year.
