About the event
Pyrography, or “fire writing,” is the age-old art of burning designs into wood — a craft practiced around the world and especially popular in the late 19th century. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to use a heated woodburning tool to create decorative designs on natural pine wood slices.
We’ll cover the basics of tool safety and technique, along with design ideas ranging from nature-inspired patterns to initials and simple illustrations. Each participant will leave with a set of custom wood-burned discs, perfect for ornaments, tags, or rustic home décor.
All materials are included, and no prior experience is necessary. Class limited to 5 guests. As always, please contact us if you prefer to schedule a private event (4 guest or more).
