Pressed Flowers in a Floating Frame
Create framed pressed botanical art in this hands-on workshop. Participants may choose from pre-dried pressed flowers provided in class or bring fresh flowers, leaves, or grasses to press during the workshop. Instruction includes basic pressing techniques, color preservation, and simple composition.

About the event
Join us for a relaxing and creative workshop where we’ll turn flowers and greenery into lasting art. Participants may choose from a curated selection of pre-dried, pressed flowers provided in class or bring their own fresh flowers, leaves, or grasses to press during the workshop.
You’ll learn simple, beginner-friendly techniques for pressing plant materials, along with helpful tips for preserving color and minimizing fading over time. We’ll also explore basic design principles—composition, balance, and layout—before arranging your pressed botanicals in a wood floating frame, perfect for displaying at home or gifting.
All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. If you choose to bring your own fresh botanicals, seasonal and flatter materials tend to press best.
