About the event
This is the class you’ve all been asking for—and it’s finally here! In this extended, technique-focused workshop, we’ll dive deep into the process of making a fully poseable needle felted sloth. You’ll learn how to build a wired armature for structure and movement, then layer and sculpt wool to create a soft sculpture full of personality and charm.
This workshop is designed for those with some basic needle felting experience who are ready to expand their skills. It’s a great opportunity to explore new techniques in character building, detailing, and constructing movable parts.
We’ll take a 30-minute break mid-class, so feel free to bring a snack or lunch—or order takeout from our nearby pizza place. All materials will be provided. Come ready to learn and leave with a sloth you’ll be proud of!
