There is something incredibly rewarding about using a kitchen towel that you wove with your own hands. In this workshop, you'll create a beautiful heirloom-quality kitchen towel using premium 100% cotton weaving yarn while learning the essential skills needed to confidently weave many future projects.
This workshop is designed as a skill-building class, not simply a make-and-take project. While you'll leave with one beautiful handwoven towel, the real value is the knowledge and confidence you'll gain throughout the process. Every technique you learn can be applied to future towels, placemats, table runners, scarves, blankets, fabric for sewing, and countless other rigid heddle weaving projects. This is your supply cost. We will use unmercerized premium cotton weaving yarn. If you prefer to purchase full weaving cones of yarn, teach can send a supply list and supplier list, which will be costly but if you plan to weave more towels you may be interested in this.
