Egg Art / Pysanky

At MI Craft House, we invite you to discover the beauty of Pysanky, the art of writing intricate designs on eggs with beeswax and dye. For many, this is a traditional practice passed down through generations; for others, it is an entirely new way to create art. Either way, it is an amazing craft that blends history, symbolism, and creativity.
 

We offer workshops throughout the year, giving you the chance to learn the techniques of Pysanky in a supportive, hands-on environment. Whether you are continuing a cultural tradition or simply curious to try something unique, our classes are designed to teach while inspiring your own creativity.

In addition to workshops, our Howell shop and online store carry a wide range of egg art supplies, everything from tools and dyes to finished Pysanky.
