About the event
Create a beautiful piece of botanical art while learning the timeless craft of flower pressing.
In this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop, we'll explore several methods for pressing flowers, leaves, and grasses, along with tips for preserving color and creating successful pressed specimens at home. While freshly pressed botanicals require time to dry, you'll work with a beautiful selection of pre-pressed flowers and greenery to design your finished project during class.
We'll also cover simple design principles such as composition, balance, and arrangement as you create a one-of-a-kind botanical display in a wood floating frame.
Whether you're a gardener, nature lover, or simply enjoy creating with natural materials, you'll leave with new skills, inspiration, and a framed piece of botanical art ready to display.
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
