Felting Workshop: Two Techniques, Four Soaps!  Straight Farmhouse Museum

Have fun exploring the art of felting in this two-part workshop! In the first part, Color-Washed Felted Soap, you’ll wrap and blend soft merino wool over soap bars to create two beautifully layered, colorful bars, experimenting with color, texture, and design. In the second part, Holiday Needle Felted Soaps, you’ll decorate two pre-felted guest soaps with festive designs. By the end of class, you’ll take home four unique soaps and the skills to continue felting at home. Once the soap inside is used, the wool can be repurposed for fun craft projects like lavender or herb pouches, wool ornaments, or decorative accents for other felting creations.(Supplies to make more soaps will be available for purchase in our shop).
