About the event
Create a beautiful boho-inspired wall hanging while learning the fundamentals of tapestry weaving.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn several foundational tapestry weaving techniques as you create a textured fiber art piece inspired by the popular World of Wool Boho Tapestry Kit. We'll cover warping, plain weave, rya knots, shape building, texture techniques, color placement, and finishing methods.
Students will work step-by-step through the project while gaining the skills and confidence to continue exploring tapestry weaving on their own.
You may choose to purchase the weaving loom used in class and take it home for future projects, or simply attend the workshop and use a studio loom during class.
This workshop is designed for beginners and no prior weaving experience is required. All fibers and project materials are provided.
